Child Subluxation

Approx. one month ago a young mother brought her 3 year old child into our office. She said he has been getting violent bloody noses 3 to 4 times a day that will not stop. When she took him to the ER and medical doctor they said he had high blood pressure and recommended putting him on meds even though they could not determine the cause beyond saying the child was stressed.

Fibromyalgia is a disorder that causes pain in thousands of people world wide. Most research suggests that fibromyalgia is a disorder of the central nervous system. Fibromyagia patients experience increased chemical activity in the brain and spine. The average patient has, four times as much nerve growth factor as people without the disorder. This suggests that fibromyalgia is a problem of central nervous system hypersensitivity.

Computer Work and Bad Posture

When a patient walks into my office and describes neck pain with a gradual onset and the patient has no idea how it started one of my first questions is what do they do for a living. The reason being that the majority of Americans work on a computer for work. Computer work creates major issues in the cervical region by causing the patient to lean forward while typing.

Sore Knees, Ankles, and Shoulders

I get asked a lot about sore knees, ankles, and shoulders. Most people have no idea how they became painful, only that they have started to affect their daily lives because of constant pain in the joints. The most common question is “Can Chiropractic help??” The answer in short is YES!!!

The key to helping extremities is finding the cause of the problem.

Lower Back Pain

What causes low back pain? Humans have 144 joints in their spinal column. These are important because they support gravity and allow us to move freely. When these joints become stuck, pressure builds up. Adhesion and scar tissue forms. This causes stiffness, pain, and neurological issues like sciatica. If you are experiencing issues like this please reach out to a professional and get them checked out!

Anterior Head Carry

I often get asked what causing that terrible looking hunchback that a grandparent has developed. The truth is that it starts developing years before it gets to that point!

I see it very often in young people that have had long hours on computers, car accidents and even by carrying back packs.  The neck loses it’s proper curve and the person will have Anterior Head Carry.
